My stamp bucket

Ever since Stampin' Up released clear mount stamps last year I have purchased most of my new stamps as clear mount. The thing that I realized a couple of months ago is that I needed to find a way to make sure that I didn't mistakenly throw away any of the stamps. When I was at IKEA I found these nice little buckets but they were pretty plain. I finally was able to decorate one. Isn't it cute?

So now when I take a stamp off of my clear blocks & can't clean them right that second I throw them in the bucket until I can clean them & but them back in their case. The other thing I do to keep up with the stamps is to keep the extra rubber that the stamps are die cut from. This helps me instantly know if a stamp is missing from the case. This is especially good for the stamp sets with tiny stamps.

I hope you enjoyed my organizational tips.

Sharing in your sorrow

A good friend lost her grandmother this weekend so I made a card to send to her. Since she loves pink I had to you pink as my base color, but when I went to make the card I realized I only had retired pink designer series paper. I created the gathered ribbon look by pulling the middle threads to gather the seam binding.

Stamps: Thought & Prayers
Ink: Crumb Cake, Certainly Celery, Pink Pirouette Stampin' Write Markers
Paper: Crumb Cake & Whisper White Cardstock, Candy Lane Designer Series Paper (retired)
Accessories: Crumb Cake Seam Binding, Neutrals Brads
Tools: Corner Rounder, Paper Piercer

Rewards Board Winner

The first Reward Board was filled at Shea's workshop this weekend. Kathy drew a name for me & the winner is... Barb Williams.

Barb receives a $50 gift certificate that is redeemable with me for classes & Stampin' Up Merchandise.

Congrats Barb!

There are six spots left on Rewards Board #2 so we should have another winner soon.
